Toronto study finds ‘satellite babies’ common across immigrant communities

Therapist Connie Tse, in background, ran a Mandarin workshop in Toronto for young mothers to reflect on the pros and cons of sending children home to be raised temporarily by relatives. The program ended this year due to a decline in enrolment.
